Bitcoin Hashrate Drops After China Coal Mine Explosion; Difficulty at ATH

A coal mine explosion in Xinjiang, an autonomous region of China, may have led to a Bitcoin (BTC) hash rate drop at a time when Bitcoin mining difficulty went for a new all-time high.

Primitive Ventures co-founder Dovey Wan said that there was a coal mine explosion in northwest China’s Xinjiang region which led to a “major” power outage.
